Beef Recipe

Beef is widely consumed by all for the variety it has, here are some examples.

lomo saltado

Season the meat with garlic, salt and pepper.

Place a wok or skillet over very high heat. Add the oil and sauté the meat, a few strips at a time (2 minutes per batch) so they don't sweat, but instead brown.

Add the onion, tomato, and chili pepper and sauté for about 2 to 3 minutes. Tomatoes and onion should be crisp, not mushy. Add the soy sauce and vinegar to the sides of the wok or skillet and mix everything together. Add the meat (beef) broth and cook 1 1/2 more minutes. Taste it to adjust the seasoning.

Turn off the heat, add the chopped cilantro, and serve immediately with French fries and white rice.

Steak Onions

In a bowl, place the meat and pepper and marinate for 5 minutes.

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the oil, garlic, onion and fry for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the meat and cook until it begins to brown.

Add the MAGGI® Picantita Tomato Sauce, the water, cover the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve and taste.

Beef stew

Season the meat with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and fry the meat cubes on all sides. Remove and reserve. In the same pot, brown the onion and garlic over medium heat for three minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook for five more minutes. Add the raisins, bay leaves, wine, and broth, and cook until boiling. Add the meat, cover the pot and cook over low heat for 40 minutes. Add the peas and carrot, and cook for an additional eight minutes. Rectify the seasoning, remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes. Serve and accompany with the yellow potatoes.
